Ever since a child I've always been very aware of nature and the beauty we have around us and have found my eye drawn to details that easily go unnoticed in our busy lives. Only in the last few years however, have I been using photography to try and capture this after inheriting my fathers camera; my father having shared the same love of nature.
Whether it was capturing drifts of Bluebells, fields of Poppies, the change in trees in every season or the stunning sunsets I'm fortunate to see over the field beyond my garden gate, I very quickly found I was hooked and also took great enjoyment in sharing this beauty with others. Rebecca Soanes Photography
was set up as a result in 2010, to share these scenes with others using canvases, mounted prints and photo-cards as a vehicle.
It wasn't long before I found I equally enjoyed putting people in these pictures too and found the story telling aspect of photography very satisfying. I now love nothing more now than being able to capture special moments for people, such as a bride and groom's special day or a family occasion, in a very relaxed natural style and work as a wedding, portrait and children's photographer always using the natural environment wherever possible".
